Fresheco Jeev Karuna - Animal Welfare

Jeev Karuna Trust, under the wing of the Fresheco Foundation, is a sacred expression of our compassion toward all living beings. The term “Jeev Karuna” means “compassion for life”, and our mission is to embody that principle by serving the voiceless — stray cows, dogs, and other neglected animals that deserve love, safety, and care.

India is home to millions of stray animals who live under harsh conditions, suffering silently from hunger, illness, injury, and neglect. At Jeev Karuna, we see each life — whether four-legged or two — as sacred. Our programs are designed to bring dignity and relief to animals while also creating a more compassionate society through awareness and community action.

Our key initiatives include:

• Feeding Drives for Stray Cows and Dogs in rural and urban belts

• Shelter & Gaushala in villages

• Awareness Campaigns in Schools and Villages to foster animal empathy

  
  

We also work with panchayats, animal welfare boards, and local volunteers to build sustainable ecosystems of care — where humans and animals coexist with harmony.

At Fresheco, we believe Dharma includes Jeev-daya (mercy to living beings). Through Jeev Karuna Trust, we extend our gratitude to nature by protecting those who cannot speak — but feel.
